Route Directions

START OUTSIDE THE FRONT OF THE WHITEHORSE INN AB23 8XR

Leave the village on the old main road heading towards Newburgh

Turn left after the Cock and Bull at the signpost for Craigie and Orrock, and follow the road until reaching crossroads

Turn left and head back down towards the village passing the church and then joining the new footpath

Follow the footpath towards Aberdeen until it leads to an underpass bringing you back under the new road

Turn right and run south on the old road until the junction of Eigie Road turn left and run a short distance until the corner and turn right onto Chapelwell Place

Go straight down and follow the path as it goes out to the football pitches

Follow the path out of the football pitches towards the beach

On passing the toilet block and car park at the beach take the next left and follow the path back into the village

On reaching Eigie Road turn right and continue on it until the junction of North Beach Road

Turn left and return to the Whitehorse Inn.
